Guest Expectation During COVID-19

Dear Guests,                   Amended Mach 17, 2022

We look forward to having you vacation here at Harbor Ridge Resort in Southwest Harbor, Maine.  As we and our state government monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact to our owners, guests, employees, and community, please know yours and our safety and well-being are of the utmost importance to us.

Harbor Ridge no longer requires face coverings indoors.

We ask that you let us know whether or not you will be arriving and on which day!  We have been preparing for your arrival, as we follow the recommendations of the CDC and the government.  It has been an overwhelming two years, and we ask for your patience.

As you arrive, we ask that one member of your family enter to check-in at the Clubhouse.  You will receive your welcome packet, and it will provide your unit number, internet access, restaurant information, and emergency numbers.  Island businesses have felt the staffing shortages, and we continue to encourage visitors to be patient and kind.

The Clubhouse amenities are open on a reservation basis one family at a time for 45 minutes in the mornings; and it is open to all from 10:00 am to close.   This is subject to change.  Staff will be available by calling the Front Desk from your townhouse or by coming to the Front Desk.  The outside amenities are available, and the tennis rackets, balls, corn hole bean bags, basketballs, and horseshoes are in a deck tote by the lower entrance of the Clubhouse.

We have amped up our sanitizing of your unit, and all used linens (including sheets, spreads, blankets, pillow protectors, towels, and shower curtains) will be completely replaced each week.  Due to staffing issues, and we kindly ask guests check-out by 9:00 am on their day of departure.  The unit book can be viewed on our website for additional check-out procedures.

Due to staffing issues and CDC recommendations, we are not hosting our welcome breakfast and our wine and cheese social hour.  We will be host our S’mores activity in the summer and early fall.  You are welcome to use the fire pit at your leisure within our posted guidelines.   One family at a time may use the fireplace in the Great Room; however, we only start a fire more than 90 minutes prior to closing.

Thank you for your continued understanding.   Wash your hands, practice physical distancing, and stay healthy!!!   We love our owners and guests, and we appreciate your cooperation and patience during these crazy times!  We are all in this together!  We look forward to having you safely enjoy your vacation.
